”The property etc was fine but had a really poor welcome. Unfortunately we were delayed and weren't aware we needed to contact the motel to advise. We received such a rude response from the manager that had we not already paid the bill would have turned around and left. It's completely unacceptable to be spoken to in that way for anyone let alone from a manager to a paying customer. Would not stay there again.”

”Traveled 6hours and wanted a hot shower and to settle into bed for an early morning Departure. When we turned up, our room hadn't been vacuumed. We were given a room and had to run the shower for 10mins, for it to get warm. THEN we tried to settle in bed but people were being loud/swearing etc outside the room and a child was running up and down outside our door so we had to request a new room. Thankfully, the staff member gave us another room and we were able to settle in but after travelling...

”Our room was very dirty. There was a brown puddle of pee and scum built up on floor and wall around the back of the toilet. The shower was filthy and there was a sticky spill on the kitchen floor. We immediately went to pak n save and bought cleaning products and completely cleaned the bathroom and kitchen. We will never stay here again.”

”it was an "almost" perfect experience .....everything was perfect ...till for some mysterious reason an obnoxious Sirene like sound , steady but dull in intensity started in the room in the middle of the night, which of course it woke us up . We couldn't find out the reason for it and how to stop it . By the time , out of frustration , were about to call maintenance the sound stopped. But that created enough stress and adrenaline that we couldn't promptly fall asleep again . That ...kind of...

”The location is very good, and the room is a good size. The beds were a bit small for a taller person. One bedroom backed onto the hallway and had a window looking out to it, which meant that there was a lot of light in the bedroom at night. Most of the room was quite clean, but the shower was very mouldy.”

”Oh my gosh where do I start. This place was so disgusting that we couldn't even contemplate staying in that filth. The place was an absolute dump. As soon as we parked our vehicle the vibe of that place was already telling me to leave. The area was filthy with rubbish outside the room and surrounding areas. The pics on their website did not reflect the lodge at all. The parking was like a matchbox. After ringing to try to cancel we were offered another room. Giving them the benefit of the doubt...

”Room well appointed and nicely laid out. Everything beautiful and clean. We went to the restaurant as well, which was closing early due to the weather warnings. But they still offered to make us food, and let us know what we could have within the timeframe. Would have loved to have had more time in restaurant/bar, as it looked so inviting. Would definitely stay if out this way again.”
