”The B&B itself was excellent! Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, attentive friendly hosts, and superb four course breakfast each day. The only drawback was the neighborhood. It is a short walk to many restaurants but there were a lot of vagrants along the way and we did not feel safe. The city of Buffalo can do a better job of supporting such wonderful establishments. ”

”Beautiful B&B, decor gorgeous. Hosts were amazing. Breakfast was out of this world. Room was clean, perfect size, we had the room with the little sunroom. Bedding was soft as were bathroom towels. Walking distance to Aquarium. Suggest driving to all other areas. ”

”Proprietor was attentive to everyone's needs, flexible with schedules, went out of her way to create an atmosphere and provide extras which both made the visit unique. The view of the lake was stunning, the room spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for guests to enjoy the whole house without feeling crowded, even if the weather had become unpleasant. Rooms were light and airy, artfully decorated, with good flow. We'll go out of our way to visit again.”

”Felt like a living museum! It was very cool to experience a stay similar to how it would’ve been way back when… The house is full of unique surprises and authentic decor. The hostess is wonderful and considerate. The outdoor porch is a nice cozy place to read a book, have some tea, or just enjoy the breeze. The room rates are great for all that you get. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, but especially those that are fascinated with history.”

”The casino is definitely in walking distance IF you feel safe walking down an unlit alley. The area is sketchy to say the least but the property was ok. This is a historic home for sure and not modern by any means but we loved it!”

”The property and the manager, Katherine, were both - in a word - enticing. The property is rich in history from the Civil War. Katherine’s knowledge of the property’s history is exceeded only by her passion for it. ”Cute B&B run like a hotel just outsude the gate to the world famous Chautauqua Institute. Very quiet although it is an older home. Real nice staff.”

”The authentic food and unique experience was amazing. Would gladly stay here again. Keep in mind it is cozy 7 quaint and lots of stuff or large people will struggle with the wiggle room but if that doesn't scare you, everything else is special. The breakfasts were divine and made us feel like we were fine dining. Loved all the extra touches provided.”

”We so enjoyed our stay at the Marshall House. We aren’t typically the B&B type of travelers but wanted to try something different on our Niagara leg. Can’t say enough--Cherrish was so easy to work with, checking in and out was immensely easy, all of the hosts were so friendly, the daily breakfast was stellar and The Burd Room was comfy and so unique. You have your own private bathroom next to the room, and you can easily walk to the falls (approximately 10 minute walk) from the property. We...

”The stay was wonderful! An extremely beautiful view, clean and serene space, and everything was provided for. Dave and his family were wonderful, and helped provide everything we could need. Even getting us out of the mud on the first night. Close to some of the best wineries and eats in the area, and a short drive to some very visually stunning parks beyond the lake itself. Their dog, Willy was an extra, added friend to us, and made our trip even more special. - Pete”

”I wasn’t looking for anything glamorous just for a one night Niagara Falls trip with the kids on a whim. It fit our needs for a night. The neighborhood is a typical tight city block 2 story style brick. At no point did we feel unsafe but the neighbor to the left (if looking at the home) had loud music during portions of the night. Nothing the fans in the rooms couldn’t drown out. Simple, low maintenance stay.”
