We were greeted by friendly helpful staff at reception on our arrival. The small bags of lavender at the lift entrance were a lovely touch. Lovely location in centre of Inverness. The apartment was spotless and well thought out for a comfortable stay with great communication from staff. Double windows in the bedrooms work really well for a peaceful night sleep.

Platform 1864, Tain in Scotland. A typical town in the Highlands, Tain is a great place to wander around taking in the atmosphere. We visited the museum which has many examples of Tain silverware and a great insight into local history. Here's a shot of Platform 1864, a cafe at the railway station. We spent time here relaxing over lunch. There's a very good menu and the owner has made a great job in the styling of the interior.
