”Extremely rude, unhelpful and unprofessional Hotel management - do not stay here if you want a hotel to care about your well being.
On arrival yesterday in a heatwave of 40 degrees the air conditioning was not working on our room.
I raised this issue with the manager as it was unbearably hot and uncomfortable in our room.
The property is advertised as having air conditioning.
When I asked for a fan or any other help, he just repeatedly assured me it was working and refused to actually check...

”Ons verblijf bij La Joyeuse was in één woord geweldig. We werden heel warm en persoonlijk ontvangen, waardoor we ons meteen thuis voelden.
De kamer was stijlvol, schoon en heel comfortabel, we hebben heerlijk geslapen.
De driegangen menu is een echte aanrader: verfijnde, smaakvolle gerechten met duidelijk veel aandacht bereid.
De tuin is een grote meerwaarde: een rustige, sfeervolle plek om even helemaal te ontspannen.
Wat voor ons echt het verschil maakte, was de oprechte gastvrijheid....

”Spotlessly clean. Excellent staff. Pool was covered for our stay. What made this stay memorable was the restaurant attached. One of the best 3 course meals I can remember and unbelievable value for money. Fantastic wine list to boot. If you stay here you must try the restaurant. The hotel was not busy but the restaurant was full. The breakfast in the separate hotel dining room was only average but acceptable. The bed I found much too hard so I did not sleep that well. I would stay here again...

”We had an excellent stay at this property and couldn't ask for better hosts there was a language barrier but nothing Google translate couldn't sort the property was very clean and inviting and the hosts made you feel at home straight away will definitely be booking again soon.”
