”We stayed 5 nights at Modern Hotel Aruba 5-10.1. Mike was there when we arrived, and we didn't really need to do anything for checking in, since we had payed for our stay in advance. Mike helped us straight away when we arrived and drove us to a restaurant for dinner. Highly appreciated! He also gave us his number so we could contact him on WhatsApp if we had any questions. ”If you like to stay in a smaller and cozier hotel than big all inclusive resorts with several hunderd rooms, then Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort is your place. The location at the beginning of the hotel and restaurant strip of Noord is just perfect: Peaceful, but from walking distance of shops and restaurants. Beach is also a walking distance away, and for lazy people there is also a shuttle service from hotel to beach. We enjoyed our renovated, spacious room with large bathroom very much....

I think it is located in a reasonably place, It is close to the California Lighthouse and beach and only about 15 minutes drive to Oranjastad where more restaurant, stores and entertainment is. Night time driving can be a challenge, Very limited street signage and the road surfaces is in need of much repair. The closeness to beaches and access to breath taking views of the ocean is a plus.
