”I have stayed at Marijke often and always liked it because of its location and acceptable level of services.
This time, for the second time, there was a problem with the water heater in the hotel and so on the departure morning we had a choice of no shower or cold shower.
The cleanliness was also not at the normal level as room service dishes were left to the hallways for too long times and the room cleaning was spotty.
But as always, Bergen was lovely, and Alkmaar busy and entertaining.”
