”My husband and granddaughter hiked part of the Ouachita Trail. While they were hiking I became quite ill while staying in the Joplin Inn. The staff were kind and helpful. They live their faith. We are grateful for their thoughtfulness!”

”Everything was perfect for us. The owner communicated well and personally, both in advance of our visit and during our stay. The condo itself was immaculate, and very clean. The back patio onto the lake was just lovely. The condo is very well equipped - the kitchen had everything you could ever need, there was a great selection of snacks, and great local info brochures. They even had eclipse glasses and posters for us. It all felt very welcoming and comfortable; perhaps our best VRBO ever!”

”Great hotel to spend a couple of days, there are several activities you can do in the lake , I stayed for 1 night , I could have easily pushed for 2-3 nights”

”We love that the property is clean and peaceful and the folks are friendly. The coffee is fresh every morning and amazing! We come at least once a year. What we didn’t like was discovering there is a charge for plate sharing at the restaurant!!! I did not even know that was a thing! And if you plan on getting anything to go, be prepared to be charged for every plate a service charge. Other than that, I absolutely love this place! And we will be back!”

”For an establishment that calls itself a resort it was horrible. We showed up earlier than check in time to verify the reservation and when we showed up to check in we had to wait 20 minutes. They should have had our room ready. Additionally there were zero amenities in the room. Nothing in the bathroom for showering, and not even an ice bucket. No refrigerator, no microwave, and the hallway on the 3rd floor leaked as it rained. I would advise people to avoid this place and book elsewhere....

”Shoty repair work throughout, flooring was cracking and coming apart, door jamb worn out with daylight coming through. Only the front was actual hotel the rest were run down apartments. The only good thing was some shopping and restaurants are walking distance and the bed was clean.”

”Absolutely the most magical stay, clean, comfy, secluded. The bed was incredibly comfy, kitchen came well equipped w/ coffee. Can’t say enough positive things about this gorgeous gem , Starlight Haven. We will be returning asap. ”

”The beds were OK comfort wise and the bedding seemed clean. I turned the ac down a bit but was still hot much of the night. The shower was dark a there wasn't a light positioned to shine into it. None of the email correspondence told me what room number nor where the rooms were located. We were arriving late so regular check in wasn't available. We called and let the property manager know we'd be late but we weren't informed that our room wasn't near where the address on the emails would send...

”Free parking, although it was a tight parking lot. Gym was nice. Breakfast was good but there was not enough seating for guests during breakfast hours. 2 bedroom suite was FANTASTIC for a large family (8)! Great stay overall”
