”We were provided a home like atmosphere. The staff were laser focus on providing guests the very best experience. We often heard, “we’re here for you”. They certainly live up to that statement, specifically, Claudia, Barbara, and Patricia. The breakfast ingredients were fresh every day. They went out of their way to accommodate my lactose free needs.”

”Spectacular scenery. Our room with balcony was great. We sat there in the evenings with some wine and just enjoyed the landscape. Couple OK restaurants in walking distance and several wine yards close by to visit by car.”

”The hotel had opened about a month ago, so it was very new. The location is good and the view over the Douro valley is nice, the terraces of the hotel and the rooms' balconies make it easy to enjoy it. Chairs on the room balconies would have been nice, though. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. You could see that a lot of thought had been put on the overall design of the hotel with a lot of nice details, we liked that. The staff was quite young and eager, and sometimes fumbling a...

”Hotelli on syrjässä, mutta aivan ihanalla paikalla. Taksi hotelille maksaa n.15€ Pinhaon juna-asemalta. Kävelimme hotellilta kaupunkiin upeassa maisemassa. Hotellin lähellä ei ole palveluja eli kaikki juomat ja päivällinen on nautittava hotelissa tai lähdettävä kaupunkiin. Hotellin päivällinen ei valitettavasti ollut kovin hyvä, joten toisena iltana söimme Pinhaossa. Viinin maistiaiaset ja pieni kierros kannattaa pyytää, hinta 15€.”

”The property was beautiful and very well done from a design standpoint. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was great. 24 hour gym, nice indoor pool. The location is also good - very historic, quaint, and walkable to several dining and cafe options. Only negatives were that our refrigerator didnt work and the parking was very limited.”
