”The building and room were excellent. I parked off street and was steps from my room. I ordered a pizza and the delivery was smooth! The bed was amazing and I loved the sheets! The bathroom is upgraded and nicely done. I had an appointment early and the Villa is centrally located in San Clemente and the traffic was good too! I enjoyed my stay and will return! Christy B”

”We enjoyed our stay at the Always Inn very much! Freda was an amazing and welcoming host who enjoyed sharing her property with us. And Sunday breakfast with her definitely needs to be experienced; an amazing quantity of delicious foods that took up the entire table top! We'll be visiting again soon!”

”I liked how easily it was to sleep in a comfortable bed. The breakfast was the best very delicious waffles. I loved making a cup of coffee on the Keurig each morning. I really loved how close access to the beach.”

”Very convenient location in San Clemente. Room and bed were comfortable and the hotel was quiet each morning. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool/hot tub area was a bit tired and sun worn. Everything worked and was useful at the pool but it did not fit with the rest of the property. Will definitely return when in SC.”

There's 1 window in entire unit and it would not open 2. No WIFI - listed as "Internet" in Expedia profile, each day we were promised it would be fixed. Each day we were disappointed. It was never fixed. 3. No TV ("40-inch TVs with cable channels") - likely tied to internet outage. 4. Sofa was incredibly worn-out and uncomfortable 5. Room in general...

”We were so pleasantly surprised about everything, especially the proprietors Dave and Joyce. This property is a typical, old 1950s Motor Inn on the old Camino Real. Make no mistake, it is not near the beach, but it has an intended “surfers vibe” and sits right on the Green line of the free San Clemente trolley line that runs every 15 minutes to the Califino Beach or the San Clemente pier and all points in between. ”If could give this hotel 1,000 stars, I would! The decor was absolutely stunning and reminded us of our favorite places in Puerto Vallarta. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the two fireplaces made for the perfect nightcap and a truly relaxing evening. The staff at the front desk were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. ”Been staying here for years before Hilton took over. Amazing location and pool area but rooms were in disrepair and not well maintained. Happy to say that since Hilton took over, MAJOR improvement.”

”We walked from train station and did not have an automobile at the site. Yet--we were charged for valet parking of a vehicle---$55 despite telling the desk that we did not have a vehicle and did not need valet parking. Please correct this error. ”
