Pool area was very crowded, the hot tub was packed with kids. No toys are allowed in the pool at all. Very short staffed.Breakfast very basic.Elevator out of order and because the hotel charged me for early check in and shouldn’t have it took 2 hours to get checked in.

We enjoyed relaxing in the living area. We ate at the Lighthouse in Clayton. We visited the coffee shop, brewery and winery. This place has a great view. Our only complaint was the bed.

Perfect location for my book club to have a reading retreat. We made good use of the drawing room, appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and giant dining room table, and got great sleep. Absolutely charming historic character to boot.
