”We stayed at Breakwater in October 2023 with two young families. The apartment is well stocked and worked well for two couples with three kids under 4. Luke was super accomodating and provided us with pack n plays and a high chair, and was also very responsive. Location is great - walk across the street to the harbor to check out boats and birds, or walk down to the village for breakfast or dinner. We loved our stay in Southwest Harbor and at Breakwater. ”We loved this place so much!! The pictures online don’t give it enough credit! The king bed/single cabin was so cozy and so conveniently placed for all our bar harbor/Acadia National park adventures!! The staff was so kind and our dogs were welcomed and even made friends with some other dogs at the little dog park they provide! Would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a great stay! ”

”The staff was kind and professional. The hotel is nice. The room very clean and pretty. I know carpet was taken out to be more hygienic and they are difficult to maintain but I missed having carpet. Maybe put in a larger area rug. Secure it. Thank you. ”
