”This hotel is very well maintained. The lobby looks very nice, everything is spotlessly clean. Furniture/decor maybe slightly dated but it's homey. Room was spacious. ”A wonderful unexpected find along our trip north on rt 1. A few miles off the main rd, paved, unpaved,paved. The owner was very pleasant and made us feel welcomed. There are 3 suites in the main lodge. Ours had a private bath down the hall. The kitchen was huge and is shared by all visitors. Bring your own food and drinks. The closest food is Eastport, Calais or Lubec. Take time to enjoy a canoe or kayak trip on the local lake, few min drive through yhe woods. The lodge was clean and well...

”The property location and view of the Fundy Bay is spectacular. It was probably the highlight of our New England Coast trip. The property was nice and clean, the bed was just ok. It would be nice if they updated the mattresses. The hotel is nice and close to the downtown area. We had a decent breakfast at the properties restaurant before checking out.”

”I stayed a total of four nights. The place was very clean and quiet (my room was towards the back), though the motel was full. I did not rent a car, there were two shuttle pick-up spots within walking distance. In the evening, shuttle drivers would drop me off right by the property when I gave them advanced notice. Very conveniently located. Helen (the owner) is very nice and shared interesting story and useful trip information of the area. I enjoyed my stay there. ”

For starters, Aaron is the best host - he’s kind and offered insight and printed maps for us with highlights of where to go and when for Acadia. When I say friendly, it’s an understatement. And anything you need - they will do what they can to accommodate. The cabins are perfect, comfortable beds and conveniently located. I can’t say enough good things. Will absolutely stay again when we’re back in the area”
