”Excellent lakeside view. True peace and quiet. Courteous and friendly owners who respond to messaging extremely fast. 30 minutes from the Canadian border in Lubec with some stunning vistas. We travelled here from NJ for Halloween weekend in late October 2025, and the trees were turning and changing colors all along the drive up, and all throughout Maine. Cozy cabin vibes and an easy to use fireplace with plenty of firewood. Highly recommended.”

”We stayed here for a family vacation to enjoy the fall colors and explore Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The location was perfect—an easy drive to both, which made getting around simple and stress-free.The home has a peaceful backyard set away from the road, which made it a nice spot to relax. You might hear some traffic at night if the windows are open, but it didn’t affect our overall comfort.Communication with the owners was excellent—very prompt and helpful. One of our favorite parts...

”The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, utensils, pot and pans etc. as well as very clean. We enjoyed having the laundry facilities at the home. There was a lovely deck and patio. This was the easiest host to deal with as well as check in. We loved how close and convenient it was to town and activities We are looking forward to returning. ”

The living room, dining room, and porch all had enough comfortable seating for the eight of us.The host was very easy to communicate with and shared helpful tips on local activities and where to buy groceries. The house is in a great spot — just a short drive to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.”
