”Excellent short, one night stop here, arrived about 1800, check in was smooth and quick, staff helpful and friendly, only a short walk to the room. The room was massive clean and the bed very comfortable. It was Sunday night and there was a painter in the corridor decorating, but quiet and no bother. Room had all the expected; toiletries, towels, Wi-Fi, large tv and even a trouser press.
We were up and out at 0600 the next morning to race in a local triathlon at Belvoir Castle, night porter...

Beds needs to be replaced, mattresses are way too old, Bar should update its ciders, only two brands now... and main thing: water pressure!!! Awful, awful... totally non-existing... taking a shower was so uncomfortable and thankfully we didn’t have long hair. There is absolutely no pressure, not at all. That would be a reason not to stay again next time.
