”The room was clean and ready for us on arrival. Could do with some modernisation but everything was in good working order and plenty of amenities for drink making and biscuits provided in room. The pub itself was very cozy and did excellent food. The staff were really attentive and friendly too. Orders for breakfast were taken in the evening and everything was prepared fresh in the morning with hardly any waiting. Great service and would definitely recommend.”

”Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. This is our second time staying and it definitely won’t be...
