”The apartment itself was well-maintained, clean, and had all basic amenities from kitchenware to toiletries. It has a very cabin-y feel and definitely made every one in the group feel at home. We didn't feel very safe at night in the area, outside the apartment though. Apartment itself does feel secure and we didn't actually witness anything shady happen. But if you're travelling with family, I'd recommend staying alert.”

”Overall had a nice stay at this apartment. Here are a few inaccuracies, though, that made a difference for my family: the listing says first floor but this is on the 3rd floor, there was no coffee maker, and there was no twin futon (only two loveseat couches). Also, only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 guests for 3 nights. Otherwise the apartment was clean and spacious and had most other amenities you would need! Neighborhood was great and there was lots of parking available.”

”We loved The Mountain House - the location worked perfectly and the accommodations were great. Only slight negative was the winding staircase...which is pretty tight and could be difficult for those who aren't as mobile. But it all worked out fine for us.”

We would stay here again… and honestly the place design was better than listed. However there can be improvement in cleanliness and few hardware features of the place.”

”Wonderful visit”

”John's VRBO was clean, comfortable and extremely convenient for catching the bus into Port Authority each day. It is probably less than a quarter mile walk up to the bus stop. The bus comes frequently and is very easy to use once you know you are looking for #51, which is not a city bus but apparently a private company. Once you are on the bus it's about a 15 minute ride to P.A. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was well equipped and having an extra half bath was handy. The kitchen is spacious...

”We love this property. The overall environment looks like a hotel. The host is also very nice and will remind us of alternate street parking.”

”We’ve stayed at a few condos in the past but Kirk and Melissa’s is my fav! Everything is decorated so beautiful and it was so clean! Having a fridge is always a huge plus! The view from the balcony is lovely! Parking is convenient and it was so quiet! We look forward to staying again! ”

”My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. This is such a cute and cozy place! Just like the pictures. In a beautiful neighborhood that is close to everything. We always felt safe, even walking around at night. So many restaurants within walking distance and very easy access to NYC. AJ was definitely awesome to work with. We would highly recommend this place. We will absolutely book again when we go back this year!”

”We had to travel to this area for my daughter’s dance competition and this was the perfect fit for what we needed. It’s located directly next to The Minerals Hotel (a part of Crystal Springs). The place was very clean and had nice updates for an older townhome. You cannot use any part of the mountain creek resort or the minerals resort though, that’s the only downside.”
