”We only stayed for one night for my husband’s birthday and wished we could stay longer. Excellent location, walking distance to many restaurants, shops, lake. A lot of restaurants are short staffed, so try to be patient. Super convenient Biggby location right there. Staff was friendly and informative. Clean rooms, vending machines onsite, books and games in the lobby. I guess my only disappointment was that the balcony was not private, it was just a standard long balcony for all rooms, not...

”We really enjoyed the large comfortable spa room. The hospitality coming and going was spot on! Walking distance to everything to do in South Haven, including the beaches! The housemade breakfast was so relaxing and tasty. We will definitely look to stay there again when we return. ”

”Historical, our first BnB. Easy to find. Easy to park. Shopping and food and lake nearby. We went kayaking nearby. Ate and fantastic places. Easy to maneuver. Love the big tub and fireplace. Overall nice area and stay. ”
”Older hotel getting updated. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was updated and very clean. When making reservations, only doubles were available. When we checked in I asked if any kings had opened up and we were given a king. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”

The owners provided above and beyond great service, were very kind, GREAT FOOD, wonderful hospitality, and great conversation on our 3 night stay. ”Perfect hotel for me, my partner, and dog! Other hotels and airbnbs in the area were extra expensive and/or not pet-friendly due to LDW, and we didn’t want to spend $1,000+ for just a 3-night stay.
If you’re looking for a hotel that’s affordable, perfectly located, has a lot of outdoor activities, very dog friendly, and a midwest/vintage charm, Sun & Sand is a great choice. While the rooms are a bit outdated, they were clean and well-kept. The bathroom was especially clean.
