”This hotel is a nightmare...Briefly, approximately 3 months ago I stayed here...I made my reservation through Expedia...when I got there they behaved as if I had no reservation. I was exhausted after a long shift at the hospital and over 10 hour ride on the train to arrive in Baltimore. After going back forth with the front desk person I pulled up my reservation via Expedia...it took close to 2 hours to check in.
FYI: There is NO elevator and my 61 year old ass was placed on the very top floor....

”There were people sitting outside the hotel who appeared to be smoking weed, which made us feel uncomfortable and a little scared, especially since we had planned to stay there with family.
When we entered the room, there was a musty smell. The blankets also caused some itching, which made the stay even more uncomfortable.
The worst part was that the toilet got clogged in the morning, which was unbearable and very disappointing.”

”I seen the pictures online about the place and I was impressed and I’m on vacation. Well, when I got to the property I’m like Hell No I must be at the wrong place. The property looked ran down and you had drug addicts everywhere. So I’m thinking let’s see how the room is? Well the lady at the front desk would not let me see the room RED FLAGS? Well they changed shifts and the new guy gave me the key to the room to look at but he warned me the pictures online is not the pictures of this hotel....

”Our stay at The Roost was absolutely amazing! After driving two and a half hours from out of state, arriving at another subpar hotel, and having to quickly cancel our reservation, finding The Roost at the last minute truly felt heaven-sent.

”Elevators were down when we stayed. Although originally we were booked a room on the 5th floor, front desk was able to get us a room on the 4th floor…one less flight of stairs to go up and down. With two kids, one being 14 months old, it was a lot to go up and down the stairs. Other than that everything else was ok”
