”This cottage was a great place to have a quiet retreat. Close drive to both smaller and larger area towns. Beautiful country road drives and close to the interstate if desired. All immenties I required for cooking were onsite. Ferne was a great host. Showed us around and answered questions upon arrival. She has created a large binder that provides all kinds of information about the surrounding areas. Front porch views from the swing were relaxing. Would definitely recommend if you want to get...

”The inside of the cabin is magical with all the fairy lights! The kitchen is organized and well stocked with like new everything! A rare find in my experience and greatly appreciated! We spent lots of time in the wonderful deck where we saw eagles and hummingbirds and all kinds of wonderful critters! The campfire area with chairs just inside the basement door was great! We think some of the beds could use an upgrade especially if more adults are staying. The linens and blankets are top...

”We had a great overnight stay for two! The place was comfortable, and everything was clean and well-kept overall. The only issue was that the bathroom floor could have been cleaner. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!”

”good breakfast, facility is older but well kept and staff is friendly and helpful. Spacious room with nice mattress and linens, everything was satisfactory with our stay.”

”Room was clean and staff was helpful. Breakfast was disappointing. Bathroom exhaust fan did not seem to work at all as steam build up after one shower was extreme. Could have been more towels available in the room. Room slept four but only two towels were provided. Toiletries are very minimal. Pull out couch was not comfortable. Overall was adequate but a high price for what we got. It wouldn't be my first choice in Harrisonburg.”

”We enjoyed our stay. Check in was simple and welcoming. Room was clean and well maintained. The balcony is a sweet touch. We will use this facility again.”
