”Noisy, sticky carpets, don't stay there”

”We stayed here 6 years ago and had an amazing stay so we were hoping it was still as good and it was, I actually thought the reception staff were much nicer this time. Rooms are just fabulous and super clean, pool area is so lovely and they do the best dirty martinis :) Honestly this place is one of my favourites !”

”The room was compact but clean and comfortable; however its position on the ground floor at the front of the hotel meant that the busy road was just a pavement width from the window and the road noise was loud, intrusive and constant. I expect the rooms at the rear of the hotel would offer a quieter experience. The food at the hotel’s restaurant over the road was good quality and value. ”My bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed and modern. The only thing I would say was that the twin room that I was in wasn't really suitable for business travellers as it didn't have a proper desk. I used the bar instead which was a little noisy. I discovered after going to bed that the smoke/fire detector had a red flashing light on it which illuminated the whole bedroom and disturbed me when going to sleep. Also the car park is not big enough for the hotel size, meaning...

”Staff were very good, facilities in the room were good - the environment lovely with the WsterMill and the stream - good bed - good black out curtains - welcome water / enough tea for morning and evening - breakfast plentiful - but to tinned fruit - rather than fresh - not very inviting croissants - did not have cooked breakfast - we would stay again - pleasant modern design - welcoming staff!!!”
