La Quinta Inn & Suites – Northeast Side, San Antonio

”We stayed 3 nights in June. Staff was friendly and professional however the room had a stinky smell when AC was turned off. I was charged all these extra fees including a $75 charge for smoking but I DID NOT SMOKE IN THE ROOM!!!! I was penalized for something I didn’t do. They ran out of towels and laundry detergent. They offered free breakfast but guests were in the pool area late night( after midnight) making lots of noise downstairs. Overall experience I rate 3/10. Definitely not staying...

”This is my third time stand at this hotel. The first time was great. Had a nice room great view of the tower of America. Second time OK view of the pool. I do like the location right across the street from H-E-B grocery but this day was probably my worst. My view was of the roof of the air conditioner, which is pretty horrible actually depressing looking out the window and then also the hotel was full of one shelf, teenage girl soccer players who were extremely rude blocking my exit. ”I have never written a complain about any hotel stays ever. And we had stayed there before but for the first time i think none of us had a nice stay. The sofa bed was super old and you can feel every single spring. And on the king size bed it was also an old bed. You can fell the whole from where everyone has been in that bed for years. Now i get I’m sleeping in a hotel where a lot of people stay. I know. But never the less there is a time where things need to be replace. And i also get its not...

”He gave us our refund but honestly the room was horrible the base mattress had damages, it smelled like cigarettes, and it just didn’t feel safe. The second room offered to us didn’t have working light bulbs”

”The check in was ok, he didn’t make it seem inviting, just there to do his job. The room was clean but very small. The outside of the hotel seemed rough maybe power wash the outside or repaint it. We were nervous going inside but it was fine.”
