”The staff was amazing, and the place is very clean. The front desk was very helpful; the breakfast area (Lounge 1643) was short-staffed, but we can't blame them due to the World Cup.
The only thing we didn't like is the vending machine on the 4th floor; after 12am, we went to get water, and it said, "Choose a different item." We have to go to different floors to get bottle water”

I asked if I would be given a discount, sense I am losing the city view and they said that could not be done. There was no bedding for the couch bed, so had to get that brought to the room. They brought this up within the hour. The seperate kitchenet did not have a microwave or refrigerator. But the main bedroom had a fridge. This was a very busy...

At one point they said they are not sure why this room is registered as 6 ppl and offered us extra blankets so we could put the kids in the floor! Even worst, we actually ended up not even having 1 blanket per person and my middle kid had to cover with a towel!!! Inacceptable!”

”My travel was delayed, stuck on the runway in Chicago, arrived after midnight at the doubletree. The desk agent who appeared to be hanging out with the 5-7 people in the lobby would not honor my reservation because it was for Friday and I was arriving technically on Saturday since it was after midnight. If that is a rule (which I’ve never heard of for a hotel?!) but if so why do you advertise 24/7 airport shuttles and desk agents? I literally have a message from doubletree saying, don’t worry...

”Room spacious and clean but furniture and bathroom were dated and showed signs of wear. Bathroom had rust spots and set in grime. Worst was our AC was basically non functional and had to be set to lowest (60) but even then we almost asked to switch rooms. They sent a tech right away to try and fix it when we complained but it was a minimal benefit. That was our last night though so maybe it was going to improve more. Who knows.
Breakfast was overpriced for the quality.
