The hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. The staff were pleasant and polite, breakfast was first class , rooms were clean and modern decor.

My bed was like 2 singles bed joined together and you could feel uncomfortable if you layed in the middle .

Lovely clean room. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We ate sinner at the hotel and breakfast too. The evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was self service and there was plenty of choice.

I went on a weekend away with a girlfriend of mine. We had a great night in and just relaxed. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was super nice. It wasn't clear if there was air conditioning as we didn't see a switch and it got a little warm at night. The grounds are lovely and staff were great

Shocking in more ways than one!!!!!!
No lights in the bathroom, broken plug pin in socket (which they wanted to remove in the morning!!!!!), turned the electricity off in the room without warning to fix the lights in the bathroom, once this was done we had no hot water, moved rooms then was awoken by the room phone ringing at 2:15am which in the morning they could not explain, duty manager offered a partial refund as they moved us, let’s put it this way I never leave reviews for anything but was disgusted with her attitude towards our stay, the whole point of a hotel is where you can sleep, bathe and eat when you are not home, failed miserably!!!

Dear John, I am sorry that you had so many issues during your stay, this is not what we want to offer to our guest and definitely not our standards, Unfortunately we had some challenges during your stay and we accepted this by giving you a full refund of the value of the bedroom as you had breakfats with us this was chargeable. Noisy, no sleep
The hotel seemed fine in itself. Unfortunately, there was a loud party going on until midnight - music clearly audible from the room. The party then spilled over (20+ people) into a room a couple of doors down (from 2.30am)...staff eventually dispersed it at seconf/third time of asking. 50% refund agreed

A 3 night reunion with friends
What a lovely hotel the beds were comfortable the staff were very friendly the buffet breakfast provided ample choice and the evening meals were delicious It was beautifully decorated for Xmas and the pool and Spa were an added bonus Will definitely stay there again

The bathroom was really dirty, the shower particularly, the carpet throughout had holes in it and thw bed was very hard and uncomfortable. There was several cobwebs and apiders. Food was slow and not the best quality for the price. The staff was ride and didnt seem to really want to help/serve guests.

Cover photo is deceiving, it's predominantly a worn out red brick building. Not enough staff on duty at time time none on the bar. Rooms are worn out, stained carpet, mouldy bathroom and in one of our 3 rooms no hot water.

Lovely spacious room. Hotel cold but room cosy. Breakfast warm, not hot. Bacon like cardboard. Would have liked a fruit yogurt. Staff appeared busy but ignoring customers at the bar. Lovely location.

pleasant one night stop
Hotel was fine chosen because the Delta Belfy was fully booked attending the SWIG water sensing conference and black tie dinner two day. Eastwood hall very pleasant , room carpet a little worn out and part of corridors being paint prepared. reception lady very acomodating helped getting a taxi to black tie dinner breakfast fine took some muffins. would stay again and maybe take wife as nice grounds for a weekend walk.

Could have been amazing
We attended a conference at the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel events team elected to use the wide corridors as the exhibition space. But, the corridors are the only route to the bedrooms and some other conference rooms. Throughout the day attendees of this conference walked through the conference in the next area and vice versa. This was further complicated by the arrival of a pensioners coach trip. Could have been amazing had this been better ‘engineered’.

Disappointing stay, and would not book this hotel again, sadly. As a young family, we arrived hoping to be able to use the pool facilities (having been marketed on Expedia and elsewhere as ‘family friendly’), only to find that it is only open to guests under the age of 18 (?!) for two hours a week. This spoiled our stay somewhat. Would advise other families to read the small print carefully, and Eastwood Hall to consider the needs of ALL their guests (or otherwise joining the rest of us in the 21st century) at the earliest opportunity.

Our leisure facilities are open to children every Saturday 3-5pm and Sunday 9-11pm during all school holiday the pool is open 10-6pm everyday.

Room was clean and quiet. Check in was okay but when I tried to call to ask for more pillows there was no answer. I tried 4 times. That was disappointing. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with long queues. One end has drinks and the other end had food. Queues were long so you either got cold coffee or cold breakfast. It could have been better organised.
