”The team at the Chateau Royal were all so lovely and helpful, they really were amazing to deal with! The room was spacious and super clean, the only downside was the bed which was a little hard but they were able to add a topper that made it a little better. The pool was warm and inviting, but one of the best parts was the AquaSpa, just a phenomenal environment to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing! The steam room, sauna and massive spa pools were perfectly maintained and clean.”

”The quality and variety of food available were extremely limited, and the standard was well below what would be considered acceptable for a hotel of this calibre. As the hotel is located on an island off Nouméa, we had no alternative dining options and were effectively restricted to what was offered on-site. ”Everything was great. breakfast had lots of options and was delicious. It is more of a hotel than resort. Location is amazing. We spent lots of time walking around and on the beach. Easy to get a taxi into the port for travel. The taxi from duck island is only a 10minute walk from hotel”

”Location is great and the rooms are large and well-equipped for a self-reliant traveller to stay longer times. Not everything in the room worked perfectly (eg. the showerhead simply broke down and the washing machine was not working 100%), but nothing major that would ruin your holiday. The best part of the hotel is that the apartments are very large and have excellent balconies for sunbathing and just spending time. I would definitely come here again, no questions asked.”
