”The rooms were beautiful and there was a functional kitchen and washer/dryer. Only downsides were: (1) kitchen lacked some cookware items that would have been helpful to have (ie there was no cookware that could be used in oven in our unit); (2) the combo washer/dryer was standard troublesome. This are incredibly picky criticisms and are of at outweighed by the surprise perks (fully decked out gym and this is great quality and value for what we paid.”
”Lovely venue slightly away from the city center and other hot spots, so expect a lot of metro or taxi rides to get to where you want to go. We expected some nice moments in the sun by the pool, but were thrown out because the sunbeds (which are anyway far from fancy) need a reservation, and no one told us that (say, when checking in!) and you can only reserve them for one hour (!) at a time. "when booking the room information said that there was air conditioning, but there was not. The room was really hot, even if we switched the heating first to minimum and then completely off. You could only sleep when we moved the beds to the front of the window and opened the window. Respa ignored our complaint, they just asked us to adjust the heating ourselves. There was a night club next door, so we couldn't sleep much during our vacation when we had to keep the window open.
The quality of cleaning was not good. On a couple of occasions, towels had also been left unbrought. General facilities worn out, e.g. holes in the walls. When taking a short shower, the water flowed into the hall. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was the only decent thing.
