”The day we checked in and as we almost made it to our room, the fire alarm went off. With luggage in hand we ran down the stairs and found the outdoor exit with another guest. We made our way to the front of the building and learned it was a false alarm, thank goodness. Anyway, fun times :-)
The staff is wonderful and kind. Breakfast was wonderful with optoons to have omelets made the way you want, and pancakes too. Our room was clean and quite. Overall, great stay.”

”So much better than the downtown hotels we stayed in. The hotels downtown are older and run down and crawling with cruise passengers. This is a newer hotel: clean, well lit, quiet, fun, nicely decorated, nice staff, good vibe. You can't walk a lot of places and the view is of a gas station, but of the four hotels I stayed in on a trip to Anchorage, this is the only one I would book again. 5 minute drive to everything.”

”I was looking for a no frills place to sleep before traveling early the next day. The place is as advertised. Shared bathrooms but not a big deal. It’s all well kept and clean. Staff is excellent and super friendly. The area of town is a bit sketchy but the property is very secure. The manager turned out to be someone I knew from my USCG days in AK so that was a nice surprise. Would stay there again and recommend it! ”
