”A spacious and comfortable lodge with a pleasant view of the lake (not the marina). It is in a quiet spot slightly uphill from the marina itself. Apart from the Canada geese on the grass, we saw tufted ducks on the lake, a heron in the reeds and oystercatchers on the grass. Plus other birds in the trees. Please note that the cooling towers are not visible from the lodge because of the trees. In any case they are decommissioned.”

”It’s looks lovely in the pictures but a few things to note, the house looks “tired”, lightbulbs out, fridge smelt, floors and counter tops sticky,,tiles not secure on backsplash in kitchen.You could either have a “cold power shower” or a warm shower. Towels were stiff, no ironing board (sent email which took over a day to reply and told last guest had broken it, would have to wait a few more days to get one) only one useable in back yard as other one broken, outside cloth dryer broken, washing...
