”Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended”

”We loved our stay here. Stylish, spacious and comfortable room with a modern bathroom. The pub and rooms had been recently refurbished with great care. We stayed in room 8 which backed out onto the courtyard behind the pub and had velux windows which you could watch the stars through. Despite being part of a pub, we found our room to be very quiet after 9pm. Breakfast was fantastic, the veggie option was delicious and the ingredients felt very high quality. Room was modern but had a few cosmetic issues such as tape on laminate flooring and a shower screen that didn't stop the water from pouring out. It didn’t affect our stay but from a glance minor repairs could be made. Would still happily book again as location and breakfast alone was well worth it ”

”Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. The room needed some tlc. Paintwork very shabby. The bathroom was very poky and not very clean. The toilet had nasty staining in the pan and the...
