The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.”

”The hotel is ideally situated for the Wye Valley with great views. We had a great room which had plenty of space including a sofa, clean, great facilities and well serviced.
The breakfast was really good with a great choice and the breakfast staff were really welcoming and friendly.
Also the hotel had good quality pub food at a reasonable cost.

”Accommodation was superb and in a lovely private quiet location. There was a welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs, jams, butter so we didn't have to find a shop. Accommodation was great and free wifi, Netflix and Prime available. Nice area to exercise dog and it was a very relaxing break.”
