”Very welcoming and friendly hosts, and a delicious breakfast! The room was spotless and the location was perfect — close to everything while still being a lovely and peaceful place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay!”

”The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside. ”

”We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”

”Prarthana and the staff was very professional and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast next morning. Views were amazing from our room. Location is beautiful and very conveniently close to the tea lounges and Nuwara Eliya town. Room is very clean and comfortable. ”

”We stayed just for a night as a stopover drive from arugam bay to Ahungalla. We had the family room which has two bedrooms, one with 2× double bed and the other 1x double bed. Had a fridge/freezer and a living room. No air conditioning but wasn't needed as the weather was already cold in nuwara Eliya. Breakfast included offered western (sausages, toasted bread and eggs)or srilankan food (dosa, sambal, eggs). Offered fruita and juice. Great location very high up on the mountain with a nice view...

”Amazing place near Nuwara Eliya. Beautiful view, which you can watch even from bath. Host is very friendly and helpful, even gave us a little gift when we left. The place was little hard to find so it might help if there would be a sign from the crossroad. Wi-Fi didn’t work properly, but it’s quite common in Sri Lanka.”

”Decent property or a short stay. The dining experience was good. Close to Nuwara Eliya town centre but not walkable. Considering the fact the area is a hill station with cold/colder weather conditions, the room(s) need a better heating setup that can make the visitors feel comfortable inside the room.”

”Staff was good beds a little hard & sheets not clean overall not like the pictures on hotels.com we could hear all that was going on in next room & downstairs ”

”Staff was courteous. Breakfast was good. There was no hot water available until I asked them about it. Overall stay was good but I felt pretty cold in the night”

”We enjoyed our stay at Tea Plant, with a very spacious room offering a lovely view — thank you again for the upgrade. Dinner was also good and generous. However, the hotel really needs some refurbishment (leaks, worn furniture), and the staff could be a bit more professional”

”Really really nice staff - they were so accommodating and helpful- beyond what could be expected. We only stayed one night but they made us wish we had stayed a little longer. ”

”Nice colonial style hotel in Nuwaran Eliya hills. Beautiful surroundings. Close to center. Service in dining / breakfast sometimes slow. We were upgraded to Suite, many thanks.”

”Lovely property. Spotless rooms, attentive staff, peaceful surroundings.”

”Hotellet er i sin helhed godt til prisen og personalet var søde og hjælpsomme. Der var en del musik der støjede fra naboer, hvilket gjorde det svært at falde i søvn, hvilket var et stort minus for hotellet.”

”Stayed here for 1 night but it was absolutely delightful! The staff was very hospitable, the amenities were great, location of the hotel relative to the touristy attractions was fantastic. The breakfast was a la carte but on point, room was decent sized and clean too. Gave us nothing to complain about. 9/10 and would highly recommend.”

”景色は素晴らしいが、エレベーターがないので不便です。換気が上手くいってないのか、料理の匂いが部屋でも気になりました。”

”Lovely staff and service”
