Motellit – Nuwara Eliya

”Nice hotel, we stayed 2 nights and walked around the little city. Nights were cool but there was warm blankets so we slept very well. Helpful and friendly staff.”

”We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”

”Decent property or a short stay. The dining experience was good. Close to Nuwara Eliya town centre but not walkable. Considering the fact the area is a hill station with cold/colder weather conditions, the room(s) need a better heating setup that can make the visitors feel comfortable inside the room.”

”Nice colonial style hotel in Nuwaran Eliya hills. Beautiful surroundings. Close to center. Service in dining / breakfast sometimes slow. We were upgraded to Suite, many thanks.”

”We enjoyed our stay at Tea Plant, with a very spacious room offering a lovely view — thank you again for the upgrade. Dinner was also good and generous. However, the hotel really needs some refurbishment (leaks, worn furniture), and the staff could be a bit more professional”

”Really charming beautiful hotel. Very clean and friendly, helpful staff Having a full English breakfast in the dining room was a excellent start of the day ”

”Never stay here! I would give my stay zero stars if possible. First, the curtains, bedding are stained and torn. The towel provided wasn’t suitable for the rag bag. The floors were damaged to the point shoes were necessary to move around. This property is one star not three.”

”Very nice to stay! Highly recommend.”

”Nytt rent hotell. Generös och fin frukost. Personalen väldigt hjälpsam. ”

”I had a nice stay, but to be honest I was expecting more from a property of this standard. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable, however the sheets, towels and dressing gown were pilled, the curtains didn't go to the end of the window, and a cracked tile in the bathroom had been badly repaired. I also found it difficult to mix the taps in the shower to get the right temperature and there were no instructions on how to operate the heater. All in all I didn't feel the quality of the...

”Prarthana and the staff was very professional and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast next morning. Views were amazing from our room. Location is beautiful and very conveniently close to the tea lounges and Nuwara Eliya town. Room is very clean and comfortable. ”
