Located in the historic Oak Bluffs neighborhood, this recently remodeled 3BR/2.5BA home is close to beautiful beaches, art galleries, and charming local shops.

Relax with a crisp drink on the newly renovated screened sun porch complete with an outdoor porch and gas grill.

You’ll love the convenience of a living room on each floor, both featuring big screen televisions. Warm wood accents throughout add a coastal New England touch.

LIVING AREA

The main and second living rooms are both equipped with big screen TVs and ample comfortable seating for everyone.

KITCHEN & DINING

Cook tasty meals in the kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of new appliances complimented by new flooring.

The dining table and breakfast nook each offering seating for four.

BED & BATH

This home sleeps up to six guests between three bedrooms. All of the bedroom mattresses have been recently upgraded.

The primary bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and a new big screen smart TV. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom is outfitted with a queen-sized bed and a new smart TV.

The third bedroom contains two twin beds and a new smart TV.

The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination. A half bath adds convenience.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

The newly renovated screened sunporch offers plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the summer breezes.

Fire up the new gas grill and cook dinner on the side porch.

EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS

Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a washer/dryer. New carpeting and flooring have been installed throughout the second floor. This home is equipped with new window AC units.

Parking is available for up to two cars in the driveway.

Access to this two-story home is via two steps at the entryway.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Recommendations

It was a good-sized property that was conveniently located. We enjoyed the screened in porch tremendously. However, there were several areas for improvement. For example, the bathroom for the secondary bedrooms had a faulty door. It would not close which was terribly inconvenient. The property requires pest control service. We experienced a lot of bugs, ants, and other insects. There was an old grill outside the front entrance of the property. Along with the overgrown grass, the grill gave the appearance of a vacant or abandoned home. The grass was cut late Wednesday afternoon, near the end of our stay which began on Sunday. One of the secondary bedrooms did not have air conditioning and was terribly hot inside upon our arrival. We were able to adjust the room fan to reverse the air flow and this helped. However, it was bewildering to find a wiondow a/c unit in the bedroom closet in the floor. Once inside, the space was satisfactory for our stay, albeit minor improvements necessary.

It was the least expensive option in the area. We feel we got a little better than expected for the price, but there is absolutely no ocean views and you do need a car to get around. Very close to the shopping area of Oak Bluffs. Carpets really need to be cleaned and the furniture was old. The beds were comfortable. Functioning kitchen for cooking in. Did not use grill.

House was dated. Spiders everywhere. Dust everywhere. Heat didn’t work reported all of it was told someone was coming to fix stuff nobody ever showed up. No call no email no nothing. Terrible service. Honestly I want my money back. Oh and nowhere to throw our garbage so house smelled. It was never cleared before we came.
