”This property is excellent for a target market of people travelling for work who just need a functional place to sleep and aren't fussy about the conveniences and luxuies usual in holiday let properties. We were happy with our stay because we had full days planned and were only in the property from 10pm to 8am each day, but I wouldn't recommend a holiday here if relaxing at the property would be part of the plan. The staircase is too steep for anyone older than 65ish or younger than 7ish....

”Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it ”

”The location of the apartment is ideal, in the centre of the town. The place is very clean and well equipped. The management responded to any communication almost immediately. We very much enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend the place.”

”Well furnished and well equipped place which was clean and stylish. We only stayed a couple of nights but enjoyed the peace and break away. We had a lovely meal at The Stag and Hounds- would highly recommend. John was always there if we needed him and was very informative.”

”Beds comfortable plenty of space and great location. Lovely Thai restaurant locally.Don’t forget to bring a cork screw or as we did ask a lovely neighbour. Hopefully heating is working for you. Do your homework before visiting as no welcome pack in the house that we could see”

”Loved the cottage and the welcome was truly wonderful! We did have problems with Maisie as there is no safe place to let her out as the cottage opens onto the road, also all the area around Rutland water is dogs on leads only so sadly no proper exercise there. We did find a truly wonderful walk around Empingham along the river through plantations of newly planted trees and the most incredible display of wildflowers, excellent!”

”Very good accommodation for us as a group of friends on our annual get together. Room to sit and chat in the the kitchen and living room, and lovely outdoor area. Beds very comfy. Long mirrors in every bedroom room would be good.”
