”Wonderful hotel in a great location. Staff we spoke to were so lovely and friendly. We stayed in one of the rooms that is separate to the main property, and it was very well equipped and spacious. So clean and very peaceful. Would definitely stay again.”

”Posizione comodissima, la signora Morwen è super gentile sembra un cartone animato, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Le stanze e il bagno erano molto pulite e il letto era molto comodo. La colazione così come la vuoi . io ci tornerei perché a Oban è perfetto, ci siamo anche fermati nella sala comune a guardare la televisione.. tra l'altro sta ristrutturando l'esterno perché c'erano delle impalcature quindi sarà ancora meglio la prossima volta. Parcheggio interno”

”We stayed 2 days and it was excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The large drawing room that overlooks Loch Melfort was also available for us to use which we enjoyed. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner on the evening of our arrival prepared and served by our host Mathew. This was our first visit to Melfort House and hopefully we will be back again soon.”

”Had a most enjoyable stay at The Old Cottage with wonderful hosts Karen and Darren. Really comfy double bed & great shower. Had the benefit of a gorgeous roaring fire in spacious lounge area at night with lots of DVDs and a library of books about stuff to explore in the local area. Darren and Karen were such lovely people, warm , friendly and gave helpful tips about the locality. Breakfast was fabulous, tasty and varied. Would highly recommend this B&B and will definitely be back. Many thanks...

”When arriving (earlier than check-in time), the landlord was welcoming us heartly and both booked rooms were ready to move in. Rooms were really clean and well equipped and lately renovated. Location perfect, 5 mins walk from centre of Oban. When leaving all went smoothly and the lovely owner pair was fairwelling us. I can recommend from all of my heart.”
