”We had two rooms for 4 people. One room was the detached back cottage with two twin beds and a bit smaller bathroom that our older daughters used, and one room was upstairs with nice space and a very nice restrooms including modern shower my wife and I used. The location was perfect for our brief visit to see some of the St Andrews history and visit the Old Course. The provided breakfast was superb and we enjoyed talking with the staff. ”The property seemed to be undergoing some renovations, which didn't feel like they were actively being worked at. Almost felt like time was standing still. Hallways smelled like filler materials, but the room itself was small and cosy. Unfortunately there was no hot water coming from the shower nor from the tap in the bathroom. TV did turn on, but the picture was glitching due to some cable/antenna interference or damage. Otherwise nothing more to complain about. Not too bad for the cheap price...
