”Siisti bed&breakfast keskustassa, mukava isäntäpariskunta. Brittiläinen makuuhuone ja kylppäri, vettä tuli nihkeän hitaasti. Aamupalahuone remontissa, aamupala viereisessä Brasseriessä pekonit ja munat joka ok mutta parempaakin on saanut. Hidas wifi.”

”We liked our stay at The Scott. The hotel does not look fancy outside, but that does not matter. The bed was good, the bathroom very clean with great shower products. No fridge available. Our room was facing the main Street what was nice. Parking was easy (although it seems that spaces are limited) and very convenient when travelling by car. Check in and check out easy. The hotel is well located and we can really recommend it. We would stay again. ”

”Keskeisellä paikalla oleva siisti paikka ihan pubin yläkerrassa. Lähellä kaikkea keskustassa. Yöllä tosin ulkoa tuleva meteli suurta kun lähellä myös muita anniskelupaikkoja, mutta ei se häirinnyt. Kuuluu keskustamajoitukseen”

”Very friendly and accommodating staff. Plentiful breakfast of meat, cheese, bread, cereal, juices - help yourself! Wonderful home baking (especially muffins and lemon drizzle). Nigel is helpful and goes out of his way to ensure you are happy with your environment. Good TV channels for the evening after you have done the sights and the beds are comfortable with soft duvets. Well positioned for public transport but ensure you check timetables as transport can be infrequent. We’d happily return and...

”Great really accessible place to stay. Comfortable room, lovey breakfast. The only slight downside were that the single beds (in the twin room) seemed on the small side, they were very narrow and not very long, I am 5ft 9 and my feet were hanging off the end! ”

”The property seemed to be undergoing some renovations, which didn't feel like they were actively being worked at. Almost felt like time was standing still. Hallways smelled like filler materials, but the room itself was small and cosy. Unfortunately there was no hot water coming from the shower nor from the tap in the bathroom. TV did turn on, but the picture was glitching due to some cable/antenna interference or damage. Otherwise nothing more to complain about. Not too bad for the cheap price...

”I met the hotel's owner and they were very polite and welcoming. The hotel had everything that I needed for my weekend stay in Edinburgh. It was a delight (!) to stay there and would recommend them. The hotel is getting renovated which shows that the owner cares about the customers needs.”
