”The individual cabin was lovely with beautiful views and everything we needed for a cozy get away. Cabin was equipped with everything you could think of. Thoughtfully put together property off the beaten path .”

”We stayed 2 days and it was excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The large drawing room that overlooks Loch Melfort was also available for us to use which we enjoyed. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner on the evening of our arrival prepared and served by our host Mathew. This was our first visit to Melfort House and hopefully we will be back again soon.”

”What a wonderful B&B!!! My family and I stayed here for three night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s an ideal spot for exploring the Highlands. The B&B is in a quiet spot and near a nature trail. Mary is an extraordinary host. She’s very friendly and considerate. She also provides a hearty and delicious breakfast. The room was clean and our stay couldn’t have been better.”

”Peaceful and beautiful country side surroundings, clean and tidy rooms, delcious breakfast.”

”When arriving (earlier than check-in time), the landlord was welcoming us heartly and both booked rooms were ready to move in. Rooms were really clean and well equipped and lately renovated. Location perfect, 5 mins walk from centre of Oban. When leaving all went smoothly and the lovely owner pair was fairwelling us. I can recommend from all of my heart.”

”What a find with this accommodation made even more special by the owners warm, personal care and special touches and great attention to detail. Breakfast is to order and great choices all personally looked after and catered for by Carol. The views and tranquility of the area around the property are just breathtaking and we found some amazing places to visit in and around Oban. Fantastic for parking too at the property. Thankyou for making this a very special and memorable stay and hopefully...

Tout était parfait, l’accueil chaleureux, les hôtes serviables, la chambre élégante et de bonne dimension, très belle salle de bain, moderne et très propre. Le lounge est superbe, nous y avons passé une partie de la soirée en toute tranquillité. Une note parfaite pour cet établissement, rien de moins!!!”

”Clean, comfortable, friendly, welcoming. I enjoyed the night I stayed there and the breakfast in the morning. A great find given that I hadn’t planned on staying in Oban at all.”

”Fae and Marcos are welcoming and did everything to ensure we got the best from our stay. Our room was large, with a fabulous view, the bathroom very large. All done with antique furniture and art old and new on the walls. The lovely cosy lounge with a warming fire was a great place to relax with a tot of whisky kindly offered by Marcus. You could wander around the garden or walk down to the river. Breakfast was superb and cooked to order. A perfect place to base our holiday.”

”Iain and his family have a beautiful property just outside of Oban. We enjoyed exploring Oban, but really enjoyed hanging out on the property in the sunshine. The cottage was perfect for our family. ”

”Our hosts took such good care of us, arriving on a wet wet day they prepared the hot tub for us, organised a late dinner at most excellent pub in walking distance through wonderful countryside for delightful delicious home cooked food . Sleep was very comfortable and breakfast a knock out in presentation and selection. ”
