”Lovely bed and breakfast on the water in Lochaline. Shaley and Peter were gracious and very informative both before and during our stay. Delicious cooked to order breakfast and immaculate spacious rooms. Ferry to mull is a short walk. Highly recommend especially if a nature lover”

”Nice hotel with a cosy room. I was suspicious about the shower at fist, but it worked perfectly. No luxury, but well worth the price we paid. I can recommend this hotel.”

”The room was adequate no headboards on beds, room sparse, The TV should be mounted on the wall, furniture dated but clean. Bathroom good size, good shower but the shower gel looked as it had been left behind by last occupant. Disappointed with breakfast no fruit salad and when asked for poached eggs the staff could not provide (really) Overall underwhelming and would not recommend.”

”Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. We came back for the views and location, the food and the peace and most of all the warmth and kindness and local knowledge of our host A big thankyou once again”
