”Many areas of the hotel are very tired, including the rooms we had.
Certain parts of the hotel were not well maintained and not as clean as you would expect from this hotel category.
Many staff were in experienced and not helpful, others were very helpful, no consistency.
Food was good.
You need a car, difficult to get taxis and Ubers”

”The hotel is extremely dated. Note that there is a large annex, so if you are in a “garden” room, you are not staying in the castle, it is an outdated 1980s annex. The bathroom had a sink that had been broken and poorly glued back together and a very dirty fan. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and could have used a mattress topper. You feel every spring in the mattress. The entire hotel also had a very musty smell. The actual castle portion has potential to be very beautiful, but some...
