”Huoneisto oli puhdas ja siisti ja sijainti oli loistava. Lähtöpäivänä saimme matkatavarat näppärästi lukittuun huoneeseen päivän ajaksi. Ainoa miinus oli hissin puute, minkä vuoksi matkalaukkujen vieminen 5. kerroksen huoneistoon oli hankalaa.”

”Actually, we were not able to stay. I did climb the 30 steps to get to the apartment, and it was a very nice place. 40 years ago, it would have been suitable for my wife and I. It would be better suited to younger travelers since all bags have to be carried up the steps. However, I cannot fault the owners because I did not pay close enough attention to the description”

My friends have already asked me for the itinerary to replicate this trip!! It's hard to find accommodations for a single mom with two teen/young adult sons. This gave us the right space for our needs in a great area. ”

”I'd really recommend Distiller's House, our apartment was immaculately clean & very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped & the tea & coffee sachets etc were a nice touch, as was the coffee maker. All communication was done via WhatsApp which was handy & straightforward. Distiller's House is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, but is so convenient for Haymarket train station & the West End tram stop. There's a few nice pubs very close by & a fabulous Italian restaurant about a two minute...

”A very nice apartment in a great neighbourhood. Lot’s of restaurants nearby. Easy to walk to. Great staff who answer all the questions super quickly. Apartment itself was great and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and extra points for the warm and cosy blanket. Great water pressure in the shower. However, it is on the ground floor, so there is not much natural light. You could hear the footsteps from the apartment above, but that did not bother us too much. If you are a very light sleeper it...

”Lovely apartment on a wonderful local street. Not in the touristy area, which we loved, but some might find it too out-of-the-way. Walking to Stockbridge was wonderful, but New Town was 20 minutes uphill. Cabs/Uber were very tough to get, but that seemed a citywide issue. ”

”We had a lovely stay at the Linton Collection Apartments over Christmas. This was our third year spending Christmas here and once again we loved it. The location is ideal, just off the Royal Mile, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay — it really was a perfect Christmas. ”Cooper’s Room was absolutely lovely. The location was perfect for everything you’d want to see and do in Old Town Edinburgh. The property was very clean with ample towels, pillows, toiletries, etc. We would definitely recommend! ”

”Location and set up was great. Just a small note behind one of the small beds in room 16 there is mold on the wall and the back of the sheets are damp from it. May need to remove the mold”
