Luksushotellit - Oban, Skotlanti

”Such a lovely property with an even lovelier couple running it. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Oban.”

”Hyvät unet todella keskeisellä paikalla. ”

”Our stay at Glencruitten House was lovely. However, for the price there are a few things that did not exactly meet expectations. First, upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink to enjoy in the sitting room, which was very nice. But there was no direction for what we should do after. We were not offered assistance with bags at check-in, so we went to fetch our own bags after we finished our drinks. When we lugged in our bags we were told “oh someone could have helped you with that”. It was...

”We really enjoyed our stay at the Perle Oban Hotel & Spa! The location is perfect, right in the heart of town and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and pubs. We especially loved watching the fishing boats and ferries coming and going in the harbor. Our room was very comfortable, and the hotel was a wonderful home base for exploring Oban. We would happily stay here again!”

”Kind staff”

”Clean, comfortable, and convenient. The room was small, but well organized and thoughtfully appointed. A great value, really.”

”Clean room, well situated. Door controlled entry which means no early check-in if there early.”

”The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice, large and had everything needed. The bathroom was small but adequate, the linens were large and fluffy. The breakfast, which was extra, we felt was good for the price paid. And consisted of cold items and a menu of hot items.”

”Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses. And be warned, if you are on the top floor like we were, the sun shines on the sliding door all afternoon and into the evening, making the place...

”The room itself was okay for 2 nights. But it was the time of the heatwave, and I could only open the window literally one inch, so it was suffocating to stay there. Luckily, the housekeeper got me a fan that helped, but I hope they adjust it so it can be opened to at least 3-4 inches which is the standard safety gap.”

”Great experience”

”The big nitpick for is lack of parking. Unless you're strictly staying overnight and leaving first thing in the morning you have to pay. It's kind of cheap but it's the principle of already paying for a room.”
