”Gene and Elizabeth were amazing hosts. So inviting and friendly and helped with suggestions which all turned out to be great. Breakfast was top notch. Rooms are nice but walls are thin. Safe area and walkable into town. Highly recommend. ”

”Great stay and room. Within walking distance of any sights and bus line of needed. Staff eager to help with questions on where to go and how to get there. Free shuttle to and from airport! ”

”We were in a unit with full kitchen, separate bedroom, washer and dryer. It was quiet and had a good bed. I am alergic to dustmites and expect to suffer in beds used for commmercial purpose. This was the first hotel i can remember that did not trigger my allergies. The staff was personable and provided suggestions about ammenities in the neighborhood.”

”Great staff, friendly and helpful, held luggage safely as we arrived early. Room was clean, all expected amenities. Brilliant, walkable location, and easy acces to services (concierge desk on the premises).”

”The building is very old (the oldest hotel in Alaska) but it was a great stay. I never had any issues. I couldn't open my window because I was on the 2nd floor and the building looked to be built into the mountain so there was a lot of foliage right outside my window, but they provided a box fan. There was a Daddy Longlegs spider on the ceiling but I left him alone and he left me alone. I would stay here again.”

”It was kind of hard to find, even with GPS.
Bathroom is ok and clean. Sofa bed and bunk bed terrible for adults.
