This was a great house for our family reunion. Lots of nice bedrooms, a large comfortable great room with an extra big table for meals and games. We used the upstairs room, with the second kitchen area and big outdoor tables, as a playroom for our two toddlers. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing and for letting the toddlers have a place to swim. At low tide we felt like we had a private beach right in front of our house. We would gladly stay there again!

Gorgeous and spacious property with amazing ocean views and access that was perfect for an extended family vacation! The parking was more limited than expected, as larger cars did not fit in the garage, but the host was helpful and assisted in accommodating our parking needs.

We loved the house. And we enjoyed our stay. We experienced some leaks in the main living/dining room from the extensive rain that the owners will want to resolve prior to additional guests.

Do we want to come back? Yes, yes, yes! Fifteen of us, our entire immediate family in one beautiful, spacious unforgettable place at one time is a rare occasion. We couldn't have asked for more, except maybe a couple of boogie boards for the kids. This oceanfront location was spectacular for our beach loving family.

The minute you enter the property, the first thing you hear is the roaring lapping of ocean waves and then you see those waves as if you’re right on top of them! It was such a unique and comfortable experience for our party of 21 total guests to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We stayed in the house the entire weekend purely because it was so relaxing and comfortable.

When we arrived we had all kinds of plans to see the beaches and attractions of Oceanside and San Diego. That all changed when we opened the wall to the most spectacular, breathtaking view of the beach. We were so taken by the views and sounds of the beach we completely forgot about all the plans we made. We had the most amazing time staying local and just enjoying the beach. The host was great to work with and communication was easy.

Great option in Oceanside for a big group

Rented this house for a couple days with 8 guys and it was perfect. Shared bathrooms was the only downside and the property isn't in pristine condition (typical beach town stuff) but overall highly recommend.

Work trip

We booked the house for a work trip and it was perfect for our group. We could walk everywhere or get a quick ride on the Goside to restaurants and bars. THe house was great for our 9 party group and the accommodations worked perfectly for our meetings. Our host was excellent and communicated amazingly throughout. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

The location was good. House was clean. It's nice to have multiple refrigerators. But...1) the house was advertised with parking for 5 cars but other times, parking for 3 cars;2) Ground floor bedroom is NOT a legit bedroom because it was no door nor visual privacy;3) Multiple bathroom fans don’t work;4) Needed multiple calls to the manager to fix upstairs dishwasher;5) A top floor bedroom had a water leak in the ceiling. Because of the water stains on the ceiling, this leak has a history.6) Would have liked to access broadcast TV channels easily. TV control is too confusing.

Ideal location. Fantastic place to stay. Very responsive management. Great price.

On the beach. Literally. Easy walk to downtown Oceanside, but in a very quiet part of the beach. Incredible views. Nice rooms. Very good price. Very clean place. We had a friends reunion with 16 of us. Great kitchen made meals easy and fun. Walk right onto the sand from downstairs. Hot-tub! Awesome.

Oh the Views

This house is a great location and tons of room for everyone! The house was we'll stocked with plenty of the the basics for our stay. Due to the excessive heat while we were there we ran into some air conditioning issues, which the property management did their best to fix. They were super responsive. Note if you are going during the heat of the summer, the house only has a few in room air conditioners it is not central, and there are 6 bedrooms that do not have AC at all.

The following did not work: spa, parking lift, refrigerator water and heat in 75% of house.

Poor experience due to nonfunctional spa, heat, garage lift, refrigerator water and no action to fix any of them the 3 days we were there. I flew in my 8 grandsons from MI and highly disappointed. I am requesting a 50 % rebate.

The property check-in process was easy and went well. The property does not look the same as in the photos. The photos show it is bright and clean. The property is well used. The kitchen is well used and dated. Everything in the kitchen is beat up. The cabinet doors are loose and/or crooked. We had to wipe the cabinet fronts and all the light and outlet plates down to get the dirt and oil off of them. The front of the fridge is dirty and scratched up. The counters had a film on them that needed to be cleaned up with Clorox wipes. We ended up wiping down everything in the kitchen with Clorox wipes to try and make it more presentable to our guests. Everyone commented on the worn out state of the property and said it was high dollar for something well used.Everything from the bottom floor to the top floor is well used and either needs to be cleaned, oiled, or replaced. The lock on the patio doors did not work and needed to be called on for repair. All the accordion doors have rust or some other build up in the tracks. The lower sand area has charcoal debris scattered throughout the sand. The hot tub looks well used as well. The view and being on the ocean is the best thing about this place. Everything from the furniture in the living room, the BBQ, the in-room AC units, the kitchen, etc. is well used and either needs to be replaced for the high price being paid, or the price adjusted for the 3 star property.

Great spaces but dated

The spaces were wonderful - great views and enough flexibility to house our large family and make everyone happy. Fun to gather on common spaces, and enough room to get some alone time as needed. There is great need for repair and replacement. Stained carpets in some locations, some mechanicals and security elements were not working or not present as represented in promotional material. Any small additions requested were quoted at very high prices (2 hour early check in at close to $500, so we felt like cash cows to the agency at times. Quick responses to calls/texts regarding maintenance issues and the maintenance folks were great and helpful. Being owners of second homes we understand wear and tear in rentals, but this property went way beyond that in needs for remodeling of some key spaces. Loved the sound of the ocean right outside our bedroom windows!

Great for large groups

This property is excellent for large groups. The location is great. There is no beach here, but during low tide you can go down some stairs to the water. Overall the house had all that we needed. Some of the rooms can be hot at night since there is no central air. Small desk fans are provided, but I’d suggest bringing a bigger box fan if you run hot at night. For the price I would expect everything to be in perfect working order and top notch, and not everything was. The hot tub had two jets not working so was more of a hot still bath. They sent someone to look at it, but he couldn’t fix it on the spot. The garage car lifts were not working, so we only had insight parking for three cars. Thankfully there is street parking on the weekends. And the microwave handle was broken when we got there. These didn’t bother our group too much, but you would expect more from a company that charges so much money for the rental. Also, bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The stuff provided smells like sulfur. I would stay here again because of the location is gorgeous and the size of the place for our large group was perfect, but I hope the company fixes these few issues and I hope these notes help others know what to expect!
