Ships Ahoy - A102 at North Coast Village

Come and enjoy life by the seashore at this charming beach condo with a nautical theme. Upgraded with luxury vinyl flooring and quartz counters, this cozy hideaway's living room is complete with a queen size sofa bed and two comfortable chairs. The kitchen was fully remodeled in May 2022 with quartz countertops, new cabinets, and new appliances. The bedroom features a king size bed. A lovely garden view is seen from the balcony. The A building has its own pool, jacuzzi, ping pong, barbecues, and laundry facilities. You are also welcome to use all the amenities of North Coast Village including exercise rooms, saunas, putting green, and an additional pool and spa.

Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet.

Experience the magical world of North Coast Village! Ideally located just south of Oceanside Harbor, NCV is an oceanfront property that feels like you're stepping into Maui. Enjoy lush tropical landscaping with heated pools, waterfalls, streams, and Koi pond. You'll appreciate the 24 hour security and gated community.

To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially convenient when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer.

Parties or events are not allowed at this property.

The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1, and and the Sunset Market Thursday evenings from 5-9.

Within a short drive, visit Disneyland & California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Balboa Island, La Jolla, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Mission Luis Rey, Queen Mary, San Diego State Parks, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland, Sea World, The Flower Fields of Carlsbad, Temecula Wine Country, San Diego Zoo, Del Mar Racetrack, Coronado Island, Oceanside Harbor, Birch Aquarium at Scripp's Institute of Oceanography, and Palomar Observatory.

Lack of amenities! Pots are old teflon which is very unhealthy. No foil or Saran wrap. There is no washer or dryer. You have to go to the garage floor for washer and dryer which is a total rip off. Bathroom floors are cold and need mats. Location is great!

See above. Extremely disappointing. Host was friendly until there was a problem and I asked for small compensation. Another staff member told me they were told they could not call me with an update. I had to call back. I don’t care to focus on the negatives in life, but to forewarn others, I need to say something.

This property was nice, the only downside there is no AC. Overall had a great trip with the beach being so close, the unit had beach chairs everything needed for the beach.

It worked but wouldn’t stay again

Being just a few feet from the strand was really nice and over all the unit is clean and updated. That said, there were a few issues with our stay that made it disappointing. The first was the check-in process. After 10 minutes of finding parking just to check in (all spots in front of HIA were full) I was able to walk down and grab keys. After that, we drove over to the unit, parked and lugged all of our bags and luggage to the unit. (Not intuitive to find) We put the key in, opened the door and found another family’s belongings inside (purse, toys, food, etc) We quickly exited and called the HOA who asked us to wait until the management company was called. Mind you, at this point, the process had already taken 25 minutes. The HOA called back to say they had given us the wrong keys and that we would have to go back to them and exchange. So we repacked our car, drove over and indeed started that entire process again. We finally reached our correct unit, but by then (now 40 minutes into the process, we were disappointed to find NO air conditioning. As you can imagine that process in the summer sun made us hot and sweaty and the last thing we needed was a stale, hot room. We opened the two windows- but could not get a breeze. Luckily, after a little searching, we did find a fam that we kept on most of the time. The other thing that was a bummer, was that the two windows open out onto the busy Main Street. So although there are trees there (you don’t see cars), you hear everythi

Nice Getaway

Overall the accommodations were very nice. No air conditioning made it a challenge with the humid weather conditions but the supplied fans made it work. If we make it back to the Oceanside area we would stay here again.

We enjoyed our time here. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Even a pack n play, we brought our own but now I know not to bring one next time. The only negative was how hot it was. We had the fans running all night. It’s totally normal for properties to not have air conditioning in this part of CA, and I knew what to expect from the listing, there was no air conditioning. Unfortunately, we happened to pick an unusually hot week for Oceanside. It’s totally not the property owners fault. The weather is not within their control. So, 5-stars. Hopefully next time the weather will cooperate.

Oceanside perfection!

Great space and well equipped for an Oceanside stay. So close to the beach! The condo provided chairs, umbrellas, sand toys. So convenient. The condo is on the ground floor, right next to the street. It’s gated so there is some privacy, but it has everyday traffic sounds with the windows open. Open windows were necessary to keep things cool. The no air conditioning also wasn’t a problem because there was a fan in the bedroom and three portable fans in the closet. Will stay here again!
