The Space:
Our condo is air conditioned! Don't believe anyone who says you don't need A/C in the summer - the condos along the beach are extremely hot on summer days.

The room was very clean and the location is amazing! I probably overlooked the fact that there was no parking space. It wasn't easy to park the car overnight without having to get up at 6 a.m. to move it. But in the end, it worked out. You just have to know that. Also, the air conditioning was malfunctioning. It wasn't necessary at this time of year, but it was a bit annoying. Otherwise, the amenities were very good—kitchen, bathroom, everything was great. Thank you!

I would definitely stay here again. We were right on the beach and were walking distance to shops and dining areas. My kids and I had a great time.

Was a great stay all the photos are accurate! Great location steps away from the beach. I found parking about a 5-10 min walk away should be taken into account when booking. But the location makes this booking the best!

We so enjoyed our time in this sweet studio. The kitchen is well furnished, the bed comfortable, AC works fine, and the entertaining parade of people and cars was great fun. The ocean, just across the street, was not a noisy as I expected. The night time activity stopped around 8:00. People running and going for their morning walk begins about 6:00. There is no parking at the property but, with the guidance of our host, Nick, we were able to find safe parking nearby. My husband has a handicap parking card. There is handicap parking very close by so that was most helpful.We look forward to returning!

Proximity to the beach is great and very convenient, clean place to shower and sleep. Though parking is limited as there is no designated parking space for guests. It is extremely noisy with cars going by playing loud music and fireworks going off all the way through until early morning made it difficult to sleep.

Perfect cozy place

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and we couldn’t have picked a better place! We walked to coffee, walked to dinner, thoroughly enjoyed the boardwalk and beach, and were fortunate enough to have dolphins swimming by in the morning.

If you love the ocean, you'll love this place

My wife and I visited the Oceanside area to visit our son. The stay was great. The house was exactly as described, a cute one room (with bathroom) house right on the ocean. The ocean was active with huge waves crashing for most of our visit - it was a calming site. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The host was gracious and attentive to any needs - even checkin in a couple of times just to ensure things were going smooth. This will be one house I will check on for availability next time we are in the area.

Beautiful small cosy unit by the ocean!

We are a couple all the way from Singapore 🇸🇬! Almost 24hours travelling time, this is a nice place for us to kickstart our 3 weeks holiday! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍 Location 👍 Clean 👍 Ocean views 👍 Full Kitchen 👍 Comfortable sheets/bed 👍 Laundry/Dryer for $3usd just behind us 👍 Responsive Host 😕 Parking 🅿️ ;the property next door got so much parking but always empty and we cannot get to park it! Hope host can come to agreement where we can park next door would be lovely! 😕 Noisy Air-con; maybe is the compressor making noise throughout Overall, highly recommend this to any hotels along the strand!!!!! I love it! Thank you for a wonderful stay! 🥰

Great for Price Loud all Night

So I would give a 4 star review but only because of the noise on “The Strand” that exists non stop all night and it’s less than 36” from your window. Loud bass and revving engines. If your into that sort of thing and no sleep, this is your place. If you’re not I suggest you book elsewhere. Nick and Amy were great which is why I gave it 5 stars. The little house is clean and well equipped and updated especially for the price. Also why I gave it 5 stars. Finding parking was not an issue at all. It’s just really important to me to be clear for any future guests that while the hosts are great, price is great, house is comfortable…. You need to know the noise is present and unless you plan accordingly you won’t get regular sleep.

Beach Front

We stayed 4 days here. It was a small cozy single enough surprisingly with 2 kids. Convenient to the main center if Downtown Oceanside and Pier. Only 2 small things. There was a rocky shore in front of our place. No sandy beach in front of location but a short walk to beachy shore. The sound of waves were amazing. Some late noise from cars driving with loud music but usually stopped by late night. Parking was not difficult to find but not as easy as we’d like. We were very happy with our stay and recommend!

Great Location

This quaint, clean space is perfect for a getaway. The ocean view, sounds, and smells are exactly what we needed. Though parking is not included, it was easy to access and not too far away. As a former Oceanside resident, we felt right at home. We will definitely return.

I feel reviews are a preference thing; so I will only comment on a couple of items: 1. Communication was horrible; I text and emailed with no response regarding internet service which was inaccurate of what was told and since I needed to work while there I had to find an alternate location to work which made it very inconvenient. 2. There are a lot of little bugs in the unit, not sure what they were!

Perfect beach bungalow

My husband and I rented this place for a romantic weekend away. The rental was adorable with its mini kitchen that really had everything you’d need. The bed was super comfortable even though it creaks. To be honest before this trip I wasn’t aware of this part of Oceanside. It was a beautiful location with the ocean right across the street. However there is a one way road between the unit and the beach which made for a lot of both foot traffic and vehicles going by. (Even at night). We were hoping for a little more privacy and quiet ocean noises lulling us to sleep. This is not to say that this place wouldn’t be absolutely perfect for someone else! It was adorable and overall it was well equipped and close to many amazing restaurants!!! The host was amazingly quick in their response when we had a problem with the tv. I would recommend to a young couple or family.

Perfect spot for a beach getaway

My husband, 1 and 3 year old, and I stayed for six days. Easy access to the beach, pier, restaurants, and so much more family fun. Oceanside sunsets are beautiful and this is the perfect spot to watch from. Access to washer/dryer was so convenient and sofa bed was plenty big for the kids. I was worried about parking, but it was truly never a problem. Although the area is small, it was cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend and would likely stay here again.

It was just as I expected. Perfect for us.

It was just what we wanted. Could not have been closer to the water. Could hear the waves crash with the window slightly open. Bed was comfy, place was clean and arranged well. There is a lot of traffic of slow traveling cars and walkers right outside the door, which we loved to watch. We would go back there again.

Roar of the Ocean

This property is all about location! Right across the narrow Strand from the beach with ocean views from every window and the sound of crashing waves. Walking distance to the pier and lots of restaurants. Beautiful sunsets!
