A little out of town but if it’s just a rest stop you need then it’s ideal.
Really nice bar area, super dog friendly & nice food served in the restaurant (opens at 7pm and food isn’t available before that, although the lady behind the bar kindly heated us up a pizza as we were ravenous!)

”We wanted to stay in a hotel near Champagne houses in Epernay and Reimes. It is close to Epernay in a small town called Ay-Champagne. The hostess was lovely in greeting us during checkin. She requests checkin between 5-7. She does a private tasting or Sacret Champagne during your stay. She had a delicious breakfast each morning. Our room was very comfortable, updated and quiet. There are only 4 rooms at this inn. It was a perfect place to stay as a base while in Champagne.”
