”The stay was good. The pub was clean, the staff really friendly and the food was good too. But I'm not sure about putting guests in the top floor rooms with only a fan! The rooms were unbearably hot. The fan did nothing and the only time the room cooled was the early hours of the morning. Not good!”

”Nice and cozy as usual. The “kitchen” is just a microwave oven and a tiny fridge… not worth the value.”

”The location was great, and tranquil/ quiet, yet easy to get to Exeter and Exmouth. Lovely hotel seemed top quality. We stayed in a 4 bedroom lodge which was great. Gym was top quality, and swimming etc. housekeeping staff really nice and friendly. Overall it was a great stay, want to stay again soon”

”We stayed in July, was very hot. There was no air con but we had a fan in the room. Shower was very slow and bed small ( I like a king size if for two people) Overall was ok, closed to the town, free parking and breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. I would recommend for short stay.”

”No lift to rooms, only a mature female was available, she offered to take luggage. No fridge in the room and no iron in the room. Had to carry iron and ironing board from reception to the bedroom. Not a great choice for vegetarians.”

”Newly built hotel with modern very clean design. Rooms with sea view have a spectacular view. Great location on bus route around Torbay. Breakfast and dinner of good standard. Staff are very efficient, attentive and pleasant. One thing to note is the £15 per day car parking fee.”

”Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. Thank you. ”

”Parking was easy and safe. Location of the property was perfect both for accessing Dartmoor and wildlife spotting (lots of unusual birds in the grounds). Staying at Two Bridges was a treat; it is a unique hotel and has an amazing history”
