Lovely setting and beautiful historic building. Reception staff on arrival were very helpful. Rooms were clean, tastefully furnished, each with a theme, and very spacious with tea and coffee making facilities but no fridge / mini bar, albeit milk was fresh and provided in a thermos which was much nicer than cartons of longlife. Dairy free also available. TV offered freeview but signal was erratic. No mobile signal at all but free wifi available. Some challenging lanes on the drive to the Manor house but worth it. Breakfast offered lovely food, cooked to order, however this does take some time so don't be in a rush! Buffet offerings were not replenished without asking. No lift due to the age and nature of the building. My mum's room was on the 2nd floor as we needed a walk in shower (many rooms only have shower over the bath) and that was quite a climb for her after a long day out. There is a stairlift for the first flight if needed and staff will help carry luggage. Bar menu reasonably priced, dinner menu is set on the day and very expensive although I believe the food is excellent. Overall a lovely experience.
