Extremely disappointing for a four-star hotel.
The condition of this hotel was nowhere near what we would expect from a four-star property. Our room smelled strongly of mould and had visible mould and mildew, which we photographed. It was also dirty, there were bugs in the shower, and our room had huge cobwebs throughout the ceilings as well as on the baseboards and furniture.
The basic amenities were equally poor: the water pressure was so bad that we could not take a proper shower, the hair dryer did not work, and there was no comforter on the bed.
The experience was made worse when we returned at night and found that the parking barrier arm was broken, meaning we could not access the hotel parking, which cost us €25.
For the standard advertised, this was completely unacceptable. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel for anything beyond the view of the port.
