Also known as La Playa, Pittulongu is the favourite beach of Olbia residents. This large half-moon of sand, very popular with windsurfing and snorkelling enthusiasts, is characterised by very fine white sand, crystal-clear waters and a shallow seabed perfect for families with children. It also offers a splendid view of Tavolara island, which can be enjoyed from the bars and restaurants on the beach.



The Pittulongu area offers various types of accommodation, restaurants and services, and is a perfect location to visit the wonders of the Costa Smeralda. Not to be missed nearby are Bados beach, Pellicano beach, Cala Banana, Bianca beach and Le Saline.



Traditional food and wine are also to be discovered in numerous establishments and during local festivals. Goat with myrtle and Gallura soup for a land-based dinner, sea urchins, bottarga, mussels and oysters if you prefer to try the fish from the Gulf of Olbia.
