”I was able to get very early (free) check-in and also late check-out. the hotel has a great and long history and it locates in fabulous and busy area in Stone Town. easy to find! many restaurants nearby, also only just 200 m to the beach. no place for parking nearby! ”One very seldom meets so friendly and professional staff as at Serena Inn. Rooms are cosy with local flavour in furniture, seaview is great and food is delicious. All details in the building show that plenty of effort and money has been invested into restoration. The hotel has been built from the former post headquarters and a chinese doctor´s home - fotos show that the starting point was quite discouraging. The end result is far from sterile standard.”
